The present is overflowing with information, yet we do not feel fulfilled. Many people take anti-depressants, painkillers that often come from the soul.
What are we missing so much?
In Western civilization, we are proud of our high literacy. As small children, we went through preschools, grammar schools, secondary & vocational schools, and often also universities. We get degrees, qualifications and endless amounts of data. After completing that educational process, we often lack information on how to take care of our body and, above all, our soul. Therefore, education does not have a very fundamental effect on whether we feel happy as human beings. The increase in suicides is a very sad pointer of the common experience of our world. For we are not separate units, separate entities in this world. We come from one hidden & magical source of life. It shows itself to us especially in nature, in the beauty of plants & animals... in the beauty of crystals...
At the same time, the truth is hidden to us, who have called ourselves homo sapiens, but it is & it is one, there & here. We do not want to accept the fact that we are perhaps just mammals, animals with intellect... We chase after obtaining data, after profit, the highest possible comfort of life & often luxury at the expense of other beings. However, it seems that the real wealth of incalculable dimensions is peace of mind, contentment within, gratitude for what I have... This state is alive, organic, changeable & cannot be bought. It is something that we create in the course of life - music, singing & dancing are above all an essential part of the path of reconciliation, actually the search for harmony with the universe.
| "You can say everything in a song..." Roma proverb
The sound wave penetrates deep into our body, a rare avatar whose existence we cannot describe even with the help of the most advanced science. We can read thousands of books, but we are unable to comprehensively understand the functioning of a body composed of billions of cells. But it's nice to try. Likewise, it is very important to observe what our soul is telling us. Is it happy & radiant or have we relegated it to the darkest corner inside? As pilgrims through time & space, we turn more & more often to the simplicity & humility of natural human beings. We seek the wisdom of the old souls who ask us - "And when was the last time you danced and sang, brother...?" And we remain silent, because it is a bit forgotten nowadays. We have become accustomed to a life that revolves around unpleasant Mondays to drunken Fridays, tired Saturdays & Sundays. But our feelings about life will change only when we break that circle, when we try to dance sober, to sing fully, even if we are ashamed to use our voice - the most expensive instrument that cannot be bought even in the best music. Let's try to slow down on the crazy highway of the world, move into the lane for slower vehicles. We can enjoy our favorite song, play it full blast & start singing & laughing & maybe even crying when our soul has wounds to heal.
We don't know a shame until a certain age, it only comes with age & the views of others. As children we are geniuses & as adults we search for this lost genius with difficulty. Medicine for our body & soul can be a journey to the inside through singing, which is one of the most beautiful forms of being. Using the instrument with which we are born in the throat, we can create tones & colors, communicate the incommunicable... create without thought a tone that vibrates the vocal cords perhaps a thousand times in a single second. Today it is good to return to the fact that the universe, God, nature, Elaha... whatever we call the universe gave us something magical that we should develop. We wish every reader that his journey through life will be full of adventure, joy &, above all, love. Perhaps we will meet you somewhere while dancing or singing & we will give our soul the opportunity to open up.
With love, Astrid, Oto & Jan
